Ed Goren

After more than four decades in the business, FOX Sports Vice Chairman Ed Goren, a 47-time Emmy Award winner & Executive Producer of FOX Sports since 1994, recently retired. the look, sound, editorial content & superior quality of FOX Sports’ studio & game broadcasts & serve as Executive Producers of all FOX Sports productions.

Goren was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, in October 2011 & the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in December 2012, fitting tributes to his long & distinguished career. Goren had been Senior Producer at CBS Sports since 1991, where he worked on nearly every sport the network broadcast. During his tenure as Senior Producer, CBS Sports broadcasted such major events as the World Series, the NCAA Basketball Tournament, The Masters & Super Bowl XXVI. Goren produced CBS Sports’ Major League Baseball studio program in 1990. He also produced The College Football Report & the annual Heisman Trophy Award presentation (1986-89). As producer of The College Football Report, he revamped the series, integrating information including scores, highlights, live interviews & special news segments into a program less than 15 minutes long. Other credits at CBS Sports include serving as producer of NFL, NBA & NCAA basketball broadcasts.

Adam M. Mizel

An executive & investor with a unique combination of operating, investing & strategic experience in the media & entertainment industries as well as in asset management, financial services, technology & business services. He has managed both public & private companies, served on over 40 boards of directors & been responsible for investing almost $2 billion of equity &/or debt in his career.

Adam was most recently Chief Operating Officer, CFO & member of the Board of Cinedigm Corp (NASDAQ: CIDM) from 2009-2015. Cinedigm is a leading digital & physical distributor of independent content (movies, television & digital short form) as well as a leader in providing narrowcast, over-the-top digital channels to avid audiences on all connected devices. Prior to joining Cinedigm, Adam spent over 18 years in private equity, venture capital & hedge funds with Aquifer Capital (founded), Azimuth Trust (founded), Capital Z Partners (co-founder), Zurich-Centre Investments & Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. Adam earned his A.B. degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 1991.

Adam is the managing member of Aquifer Advisors where he has been a principal investor, advisory and board member to a variety of media & entertainment, financial and business services, software and technology firms.  Among four current investments made by Aquifer, Adam is one of three owners of an independent minor league baseball team located in Rosemont, IL (near Chicago) expected to commence playing in May 2018.

Jim Landis

Jim brings extensive experience in leveraging new technologies at leading media, entertainment & technology companies having managed over $1 billion in projects. He has driven business, IT, and transformation initiatives working closely with Boards, CXOs and P&Ls at telcos, TV networks, gaming, studios and online companies.

Starting out at ABC Sports in production, he then co-founded CBS Sports International, which, with the NBA, made the first ever international TV licensing and advertising sponsorship deal in China. Continuing at CBS, he expanded the international TV sports business into a comprehensive international distribution division, CBS Broadcast International, licensing thousands of hours of sports, news & entertainment programming to the world’s broadcasters, cable and satellite companies. Thereafter, at Weintraub Entertainment (partly owned by Columbia Pictures, now Sony) he ran all international operations.

Thereafter, he transitioned to senior management roles at E&Y Consulting (Capgemini) and Tata Consulting covering a wide range of domains – post merger integration, top line process improvement, etc. in TV, filmed entertainment, mobile, internet and e-commerce at Warner Bros. Sony Pictures, Disney/ABC, Viacom/MTV, etc. Most recently, Landis was SVP Technology, Prime Focus Technologies, a SaaS-model, Cloud-based digital supply chain service provider of media services, fulfillment, delivery to broadcast, MVPDs, MSOs, DTH, OTT networks. Jim has an undergraduate degree in Communications, Hunter College, NY.
